Loire Life is run by the two of us - Alison & Jon.

 

We love this area and have had property here since 2000.  In 2004 we left our previous lives behind ( in accountancy and computing) with the aim of setting up a holiday business in France.  We spent five months working as Chalet Hosts in the French ski resort of Morzine - to improve our French, our skiing and our cooking  - then returned to the Loire!  (By the way, for great chalet skiing holidays go to www.chaletmorzine.com)

 

We started with letting our gite L'Ancienne Cure in 2006 and purchased Gue de Ray in October 2006.  Since then we have been busy developing the holiday cottages on the site and renovating the garden.  We welcomed our first guests at Le Noyer and Le Figuier in April 2008.

 

Our aim is to provide you with stress free and relaxed holidaying!  During your stay we are more than happy to provide you with advice on where to go, what to do and book events on your behalf.  

 

2009 saw us expand into offering fully catered cycling holidays. The holidays are centre based at Gue de Ray, so no need to pack and unpack each day. From this one location, just a few hours cycling  can take you to some of the most beautiful sites in the Loire Valley, along quiet country roads and marked cycle routes.
