Fabulous gites and french cycling holidays in the Loire Valley, France
Enjoy the Loire Life!
L’Ancienne Cure is a large detached cottage with two king sized bedrooms and many
period features. Tucked away in the village of Breil, L’Ancienne Cure was once a
vicarage and is one of the oldest properties in the village.
Ideal for two couples or a family of four or five, there are two large double bedrooms
(king size bed in each, plus one single bed), a bathroom (with combined bath/shower)
and separate toilet.
The huge, open plan living space downstairs offers kitchen, dining area and living
area with stone fireplace and wood-burner. The kitchen has been newly refurbished
for the 2010 season and has an oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. In addition,
the gite is equipped with a DVD player, CDs, DVDs and a large selection of books.
For young families we are equipped with baby bath, cot, high chair, children’s toys
and stair gates. Laundry facilities are also available.
The large south facing garden is secluded and fully enclosed and has sun loungers
and BBQ. There is also a barn where you are able to store bicycles securely if you
bring them with you.
L’Ancienne Cure does not have a swimming pool, but there is a large open air swimming
pool at Noyant, a five minute drive away. The village of Breil has a fantastic boulangerie
and a Chateau with gardens.
L'Ancienne Cure is operated on a Sunday to Sunday basis during June, July and August.
Outside of these months we can be more flexible on changeover days and length of
stay.
Quality bed linen and towels are included in the rental price.
