Bed and Breakfast near Angers – Description

Our three fabulous ensuite rooms are light and bright with a low key elegance. We’ve made sure we haven’t forgotten the basics like top quality, comfortably firm king size or twin beds, bedside tables with a reading light, ample storage so you can unpack properly and somewhere cosy to sit and enjoy a quiet drink.

For extra comfort you can enjoy supremely indulgent Egyptian cotton bed linen, a choice of firm or soft pillows, cosy hot water bottles for our Winter guests, a selection of teas, filter coffee, biscuits and mineral water.  Fresh milk is also offered so you can enjoy your  morning cup of tea or coffee in bed!

And in the ensuite shower rooms … plenty of hot water from thermostatically controlled showers, Egyptian cotton towels and generously sized bathrobes.

The Sitting Room – Great bedrooms are essential but when we are away, we always like to have somewhere else to enjoy a drink, dip into a few magazines and books, perhaps play a game or two of cards or simply to have a chat with some fellow guests. Complimentary WiFi is available.

Breakfast is served around 9am. We offer fresh coffee or Twinings teas, freshly pressed orange juice or apple juice from our own orchard, a buffet of cereals, cold meat, cheese, smoked salmon or boiled eggs, yoghurt, honey and fresh fruit with breads and croissants, home made jams and jellies, such as quince, redcurrant and orange, damson and mulberry.

Dinner is served at 8.00pm and you can enjoy an aperitif from the honesty bar in the sitting room whenever you like!

The heated pool (open from early May until end September, weather permitting) is in a lovely sunny spot at the side of the house by the meadow and the old stables. Surrounding the pool is a spacious decking terrace equipped of course with sun loungers, recliners, parasols, tables and chairs so you can relax with a book, a drink, the sun or all three!
