Pomme D’Amour is one of two holiday cottages in Vendée, in the Pays de la Loire region of France. We are in the small village of St. Martin des Fontaines and the larger towns of Fontenay le Comte, St. Hermine and Lucon, all historic and attractive in their own rights and each with main amenities, including traditional French food markets, are all within a twenty minute car ride from us.

Pomme D’Amour is a new, stylish, light and airy 2 bed cottage. Lime washed stone walls, exposed beams with comfortable open plan lounge, dining area & kitchen. Seating for 4. Satellite TV (English), WIFI, DVD player, books, DVD’s, games etc.

Fully equipped kitchen with Hotpoint cooker/grill, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, extensive quality kitchenware. Tea towels, cloths, bin liners and cleaning products provided. Iron and ironing board etc.

On first floor attractive double bedroom with exposed beam, velux window, double bed, bedside units & lamps, shelving and hanging space. Second bedroom with two single beds (option of cot), exposed beams (low headroom), small skylight, hanging space/2 x 3-drawer units.

Large contemporary bathroom with exposed stonework & beams, power shower with jets, toilet, stone feature sink and pebble tile surround, heated towel rail and generous storage space. Hairdryer provided.

The below ground, heated swimming pool (9m x 4m) is alarmed and has a surrounding patio and sun loungers and is private for our guests. Visitors have views that overlook the pool and tropical planting with large palms, bamboo, banana plants etc. around the poolside.

For Pomme D’Amour guests, dining is in our large open stone barn with built in BBQ, stone chimney and views over the pool and surrounding gardens. There is also a covered summerhouse with table and casual seating for four.
